Changing Technology in 2018Robert Moses
So I read somewhere that technology will eventually become limited by the physical properties of what elements we have available here on earth. I can’t recall where but it got me thinking about what that meant. See for the last 40 to 50 years we have had an explosion in electronics and a major social shift along with it. So the question I ask! Will the social aspect of technology meaning, the ease of life it has given, the indeterminate number of connections and lives changed based on this premise as well?
I think it’s a hard question to answer at the moment. Its also a question easily ignored in the chaos of the Largest spike in human productivity and survival. In a time where Progress currently can be measure in daily innovations. Something that was unheard of even a century ago. However, we haven’t quite reached that point of limitation yet. We continue to develop new ways to use the already prevalent technologies we have. Continually reinventing ourselves in the process. A tidal wave of looking through a glass screen into someone’s life. A swipe right or a swipe left. A wave of a phone and a connection that could last a life time. Socially we are evolving to a level that has yet found its limit.
Where will it lead? I have no idea but I am grateful to be apart of this and am excited to see what the future holds.
